Kooralbyn Fly-In

Landing Fee is $10.00

The Redcliffe Aero Club have organised a fly-In for lunch on this day.

QRAA was also interested in organising a similar event so the Events Committee had talks with the RAC (Redcliffe Aero Club) and Kooralbyn about a joint fly-in that we are happy to say, is a go.

Two eating places:
Lillies Restaurant at the Resort. If lunch is had there and the cost is greater than $20 the landing fee is waived.
Ringtail Cafe is behind the hanger. If lunch is had there, landing fee is payable.

Timings:

Suggested arrival 1000 to 1030 to allow some time to wander the grounds or enjoy a coffee at the Ringtail Cafe before heading up to the Resort for lunch.

Departure at your leisure.

NOTE: I was informed by Errol Van Rensburg (Chief Pilot at Kooralbyn) that Kooralbyn may be holding an equestrian event that day that may require the airfield to be closed for a short period as it involves a race around the airstrip.

It is for this reason that I strongly recommend that you register via our Events TAB on our Web Site WWW.QRAA.INFO as we will be generating emails to keep those registered advised.

If our Fly-In at Cherrabah is any yard stick, I am sure this will be just as enjoyable as it is the people that make the day, and it is another airfield that we can cross off our list.

We know that this is short notice, only two weeks away, but our calendar is pretty full up until Christmas.
